10/01/ · I've been using FDM for some time. I use it for torrents as well. Unfortunately, suddenly magnet links stopped working. I mean they can be opened (without files info) in FDM but are stuck on "downloading metadata". When using *.torrent file from the same source everything works fine. I've tried magnet links on 3 sites 20/06/ · After downloading a magnet link from blogger.com although Transmission adds the torrent it displays the message "torrent metadata needed," but even after several hours the torrent does not begin downloading Apr 06, · These couple of months, I find qbittorrent stuck at the downloading metadata phase, and it wont go further 17/10/ · Quite frequently I get stuck on 'Downloading Metadata' for certain torrents, whilst at the same time others download just fine. If I go to ~/Library/Application Support/uTorrent and delete blogger.com and blogger.com files then those stuck at 'Downloading metadata' start downloading but then a few days later I will run into the same problem
